OCDA Hoovler Campaign is Law Enforcement Approved

June 7, 2017

Three Orange County-based law enforcement agencies have endorsed District Attorney David M. Hoovler for re-election this fall.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Investigators Association, the Orange County Corrections Officers Benevolent Association, and the Orange County Deputy Sheriffs Police Benevolent Association have all come forth with public support of Hoovler’s re-election campaign.

The Orange County District Attorney’s Investigators Association consists of 11 District Attorney’s Investigators, all of whom are former police officers. Their duties in the District Attorney’s Office include conducting independent investigations, supporting police agencies, and providing case enhancement for prosecutors.

The Orange County Corrections Officers Benevolent Association, formed in 1998, is focused on improving the terms and conditions of employment, protecting members’ contractual rights, providing high-quality representation in the collective bargaining process, communicating effectively with the membership, achieving legislative gains, and promoting the overall welfare of members.

The Orange County Deputy Sheriffs Police Benevolent Association is the labor union representing the law enforcement officers of the Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s Office.

“I’m so grateful for the support of Orange County’s law enforcement. These agencies do such an incredible job keeping our county safe,” said OC District Attorney David M. Hoovler. “We make a wonderful team and I will continue to do what I can to support their efforts.”
